How the game works
Career is a run of numbered levels, each rated 1 to 3 stars based on your time and how many cards you flipped — replaying a cleared level to improve its rating is part of the game.
Endless chains grids together with five lives. A life is only lost on a memory mistake: missing a pair whose matching card you had already seen. Flipping a card you had never seen before costs you nothing. Your score combines pairs found, your streak multiplier, finishing a grid, and speed.

Leaderboard and username
There is no account. The game creates an anonymous ID on your device, and asks you for a username the first time you send a score. Usernames are 3 to 20 characters, letters, digits and underscores only, must be free, and are filtered for offensive content.
You can change your username from Settings → Change username, with a minimum delay between two changes. If you see an inappropriate username in the ranking, use Report on that row; you can also Hide a player so they no longer appear in your own view of the leaderboard.
Scores are verified server-side: the server replays your moves and recalculates the score. A score that can't be verified is rejected, which is why a run played with a modified app never appears in the ranking.
Playing offline
The game works entirely offline. Scores set without a connection are queued and sent automatically the next time you're online, so you don't need to be connected to play Endless.
Purchases
Purchases are processed through the app store you downloaded FaceUp Pairs from. If you reinstall the game or change device, use Settings → Restore purchases to get back what you own. Ad removal is a one-time purchase, not a subscription — nothing renews automatically.

Ads and privacy choices
Rewarded ads are always optional and give an in-game reward; interstitial ads only appear between games. In Europe you can reopen the advertising consent form at any time from Settings → Privacy → Ad privacy. On iOS, tracking permission can be changed in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Deleting your data
Settings → Privacy → Delete my data erases your player ID, username and scores from our server and resets the game on your device. This is immediate and cannot be undone. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
