1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading and using FaceUp, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
2. Description of Service
FaceUp is a mobile gaming application offering a blackjack-like experience for entertainment purposes only, including a solo mode and a Play with Friends multiplayer mode. The app includes in-app purchases and an optional subscription for virtual items. No real money gambling is offered or permitted.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your country if higher) to use this application. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
4. Virtual Currency and Purchases
The app provides access to several virtual currencies and items — coins, gems, swap tokens, chests, avatars, card backs, and similar digital items — purchasable with real money or earned through gameplay. None of these are redeemable for real money, have no real-world value, and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or used outside the app.
5. Subscriptions
FaceUp Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly (€4.99) or annually (€29.99). Payment is charged to your Apple App Store (or equivalent Android store) account at confirmation of purchase.
Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, your subscription automatically renews for the same duration and price. You can review, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Manage Subscription within the app, or directly through your device's account settings. No refund is given for the unused portion of a period if you cancel, except as required by applicable law.
6. Refund Policy
All purchases made through the App are processed via the app store you downloaded it from (Apple App Store or an equivalent Android store). Because the items provided are digital and available immediately, all sales are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.
Any refund requests must be submitted directly to that store, according to its refund policies. We do not provide direct refunds or exchanges for in-app purchases.
7. User Conduct
Users agree not to:
- Attempt to hack, cheat, or exploit the game
- Use the app for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other players
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, source code, and trademarks within the app remain the exclusive property of Stanislas & Anatole Beaudoin. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free gameplay, or that the app will meet all user expectations.
10. Limitation of Liability
Stanislas & Anatole Beaudoin shall not be liable for any damages, direct or indirect, arising from the use or inability to use the app, including but not limited to data loss, device issues, or financial loss.
11. Modifications
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes within the app or via the official website.
12. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or permanently terminate your account, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms — including the conduct rules in Section 7 — or if we reasonably suspect fraud, cheating, or abuse. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, and 14) remain in effect after your account is closed.
13. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the app.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
